Skål International Prague and Skål International New York twinned on March 8th, 2023 at the ITB in Berlin.

Wayne V. Lee, President of Skål International New York and Founder/CEO of Wayne's World Media Group; and Michaela Vaszi, member of Skål International Prague and owner/CEO of Prague City Adventures, represented their respective clubs at the twinning event.

Twinning is a way for Skål International clubs to strengthen ties and work together to promote global tourism.

The twinning of Skål International Prague and Skål International New York is exciting news for members of both clubs. It creates opportunities for networking and learning from each other, as well as collaboration on projects that benefit the travel and tourism industry. 

The twinning was signed by Lee and Vaszi at the Czech Republic stand at ITB, and they celebrated afterwards by sharing a pint of Czech Pilsner Urquell beer. After the twinning was signed and their respective flags exchanged, they also met with many Skålleagues at the Sardinia stand for the Skål Cheer, which was a great way to connect and celebrate the new twinning.

Events like this are increasingly important because they help create a sense of camaraderie and a shared passion for travel and tourism. As our network continues to grow and expand its reach, twinning events will become even more crucial for building connections and strengthening ties among clubs from all over the world.
